How do you use Sordcloud?Members register on the site and create a profile and select from specific categories what they are willing to do to earn cash. Members can also post todo items at a price they can afford. Example I need new brakes on my car and can only pay $200.00. Once a request is posted an email alert is sent out to members who's profile match the request. Job posters are also able to have the request placed on their social media accounts for their friends and family to participate. What can I post?Posting a task or project on Sordcloud is completely free! However, posted tasks must only offer to pay someone for a service it CAN NOT be requesting payment for or advertising for a specific service. For Example: This is ok: "Put up new drywall in my house." This is not ok: "I can put up new drywall in your house." This is considered an offer and will require a payment that can be activated at the time of posting for seven days. As long as the Buyer (the individual who posts the task) is willing to pay someone else, the task will remain open until a bidder / worker has been awarded the bid. Why should I use a site like this?Most service rating sites only allow establishments with a physical location to be rated. No ratings equal no or low sales in todays world. Sordcloud allows all businesses or entrepreneurs to be rated on their services. Here is why ratings count. 1. It's an easy way to build up your reputation. 2. It's a low-cost solution with great results. Aside from our optional donation requests, ads, and special postings there are no fees for individuals How do I choose the winning worker / bidder?First make sure the persons bidding can do your request by communicating on the Private message board. Once you are confident with your selection, follow these guidelines once you've made your choice: 1. Log into your Sordcloud account. 2. Click the "Home" link near the top of the page. 3. Look under the "Posted Projects" heading box and click on the title of the project. 4. Next look at the very bottom of the page and you will see the service providers who have bid on your project. 5. Click the "Chose Bidder" link under the options column. At this point the project status will move from open to closed and the bidder will have the option to select or reject your request. Always have conversations first with the service provider before selecting them. What if my request is not completed by the worker / bidder?1. You are only obligated to pay for the portion of work the Service Provider completed. 2. Leave appropriate rating and feedback information for your Service Provider. 3. Consider the situation, and if there were extenuating circumstances that caused the issue with your Service Provider, try to be fair in your rating and feedback. 4. Re-list your project to find another Service Provider to complete your project. Remember that posting projects are free at Sordcloud. What happens if the requester does not pay me?Because payment transactions between users are handled off of the Site Sordcloud does not get involved in payment disputes. Below are some suggested guidelines to avoid these circumstances: - Make sure the scope of work and payment arrangements are agreed upon before you accept the request / project. - Use an electronic payment processor like Paypal, Cash App, Ect to transfer funds between each party. - Complete the selection and acceptance process on the site so each individual can be rated to hold every party involved accountable for their actions. You can only rate each other if both parties select each other on the site. Consider the situation, and if there were extenuating circumstances that caused the issue with your requester, try to be fair in your rating and feedback. If both parties are on the same page before any work begins then it is highly unlikely there will be any trouble with a provider getting paid. Can I contact the requester before placing a bid?The answer is no. You must place a bid first and on the same screen a text box will be present for you to send a short message. Only then will the private message board will display for further open communication. How do I talk with bidders on my request / project?To ensure good communication bidders must make the first contact by placing a bid and leaving a short message. Only then will the private message board will open up for open communication. Our process is simple: 1. Log into your Sordcloud account. 2. Click the "Home" link near the top of the page. 3. Look under the "Posted Projects" heading box and click on the name of the project. 4. Next look for the Project Status box under it will be the link View PMB. 5. Click the View PMB link and any contact from the provider will be displayed. 6. Locate the Service Provider you wish to send a private message to by scrolling through the list. 7. The Private Message Board will open and will display all communication that has already taken place between you and the Service Provider. 8. Click on the Reply link and compose your message to the Service Provider and click "Post Reply". The Private Message Board should be used throughout your project to communicate with your service provider before selecting them. Please note bidders do have the option to reject the project if you select them. Can I cancel a Request / Project?Yes, you can cancel a project. Sordcloud understands that your needs may change at any time. Because of this, we make it easy for you to cancel a project / request for any reason. It's simple - just follow the guidelines below to cancel a project: 1. Log into your account. 2. Click on the name of the project. 3. Under the Project Status box will be a link to cancel the request. How do I accept a request / project I won?To accept a project, follow these steps: 1. Log into your Sordcloud account. 2. Click the "Home" link near the top of the page. 3. Look under the "Excepted heading box and you should see a column stated Action. 4. Under this column you will see two links Except this project and Reject this project. 5. Click the Except this project and you are done. I won the request but need to decline.To decline a request / project, follow these steps: 1. Log into your account. 2. Click the "Home" link. 3. Look for the "My Posted Projects" box and click on the name of the project. 4. You will see a list of all active projects. Click the title of the project you want to decline a bid for. 5. A list of bids for this project will appear. Click the "Decline This Bid" button under any bid you want to decline. 6. Click "Ok" to confirm. How do I rate a person or business?1. Log into your Sordcloud account. 2. Click the "Home" link. 3. Look a link called My Pending Reviews. 4. Click this link and any projects needing a review will be available. 5. Select the project and leave your feedback. Give the best possible rating for your service provider by using the feedback rating system. When you are finished with the rating process, include additional comments that will be shown to other members viewing this Service Provider's ratings. Can I extend my request time?You can extend the bidding duration of your request / project, except for promotions. follow the steps below: 1. Log into your account. 2. Click the "Home" link. 3. Look under the "My Posted Projects" box and click on the title of the project. 4. Next look for the "Edit Project" link under the description of the project / request. 5. Click this link and it will open up the project again to be edited.
